RED:  Intruder or similar potential devastating occurrence.  CODE RED will call for IMMEDIATE lock down of all doors and attendance.  Avoid outside windows by taking cover wherever possible, under desks or against walls underneath windows.  DO NOT RESPOND TO FIRE ALARMS.  Only respond to an all clear code, directives from appropriate personnel over the intercom, or appropriate personnel in person. (i.e. fire, police, staff)

 

BLUE:  Possible bomb threat or other threatening situation.  We are looking or trying to find out what, if anything, is happening.  Look for strangers, out of place packages or materials, or situations out of the ordinary.  Report any activity to the office.  Keep doors closed, take attendance, and stay where you are.

 

WHITE:  Danger or a situation in another school or in the community.  ALL exterior doors will be locked and no one will be allowed IN or OUT.  CAMPUS WILL BE CLOSED IN THIS CONDITION.  Be aware of what is happening around and report any strange or out of place activity to the office.

 

GREEN:  Designates all clear.  Normal activities can be resumed.  This will be given by intercom or by appropriate personnel.
